I like this blog (a lot!) but I don’t like this post. “People of Walmart” is a classist website that pokes fun at the sartorial habits of the poor. Not cool.
I’m sorry, I don’t get what’s wrong with this. I’ve seen similar jackets sold at various indigenous cultural fairs, and she very well could be native herself. “hipsters” aside, I don’t think it’s fair to pick on every single person who happens to be wearing a Native American pattern, or has a braid in their hair, or whatever else you deem to be inapropriate for assumed “non natives” to be doing.
